Terms and conditions - Rewards programme

Welcome to GyanTV's free-to-play Rewards Programme. These Rules govern all reward recognition activities on the GyanTV platform, operated by Behtar Technology Private Limited. The Programme recognizes learning engagement through activities like daily Quizzes and Leaderboards.

Key Definitions

• Platform: The GyanTV application and related services.
• Coins: Virtual engagement credits that do not constitute monetary consideration, a deposit, a stake, or any form of financial instrument.
• Mission: Individual engagement activities available to Users.
• Quiz: Daily knowledge-assessment activity.
• Subscription: Active paid subscription to educational content services.

Eligibility Requirements

Participation requires:

• Residency in India
• Age 18 years or older
• Active GyanTV account in good standing
• Possible device or regional restrictions

The Platform reserves authority to restrict, modify, or expand redemption eligibility on a regional basis in accordance with applicable laws.

Daily Quiz Structure

The Quiz operates daily from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST with configurable timing. Users attempt multiple-choice questions once daily, receiving Coins per correct answer (configurable). Coins are awarded upon submission regardless of completion method — manual exit, timer expiration, or formal submission.

Leaderboard Awards

Three leaderboards exist: Daily, Weekly, and Monthly. Bonus Coins reward top performers:

• Daily Rank 1–3: 10,000 Coins each
• Weekly Rank 1–10: 100,000 Coins each
• Monthly Rank 1–3: 1,000,000 Coins each

Awards remain at the sole and absolute discretion of the Platform.

Redemption Conditions

Earning Coins requires no Subscription. However, redemption requires an active paid Subscription and a minimum Coin balance. The redemption facility becomes unavailable during the first 4 days following the commencement of a new Subscription period.

Cancellation or refund claims forfeit redemption eligibility for that period.

Fair Play & Enforcement

Prohibited conduct includes: automated tools, multiple accounts, data tampering, answer sharing, and account farming. Violations result in account suspension, Coin revocation, and potential legal action.

Liability Limitations

The Platform disclaims liability for system errors, device issues, network failures, and force majeure events. Users forfeit Coins through non-completion or Programme misuse.

Dispute Resolution

Disputes fall under Indian law and Bengaluru courts' jurisdiction. Parties must attempt resolution within 30 days before litigation. Complaints receive acknowledgment within 24 hours and resolution attempts within 15 days.
